Chika's a high school guy with blond hair and light blue eyes—pretty much identical to his sister Chiko, who shares his narcissistic streak and inflated self-image. His big dream is to conquer the world, though he's got the typical high school confidence to back it up.
His best friend Mao is basically his other half. They've been inseparable forever, the kind of friendship people describe as "two peas in a pod." But at one point, Chika starts questioning what his actual interests even are, which spirals into him feeling genuinely boring. So he calls Mao to ask about his hobbies, and Mao just says hanging out with him is his hobby. That's the moment it clicks for Chika—spending time with Mao is his hobby too.
