Marduk is best known for being volatile and short-tempered—the kind of fighter who screams and thrashes around like a wild animal before and after matches, breathing heavily with barely contained rage. He's arrogant to the point of obnoxiousness, with an ego that tends to alienate people around him. His behavior regularly borders on unstable, and he's known for being outright cruel.
The most infamous example of his aggression happened in a bar brawl where he killed King II's mentor Armor King, apparently just because he was in a bad mood (though it may not have been entirely intentional). Still, it's the kind of thing that defines his reputation.
Despite all this, there are glimpses of something deeper. When King visited him unconscious in a hospital, he spotted a family photo on Marduk's bedside—his parents—suggesting they're the only people he genuinely cares about.
