Cyuss grew up in Astral City on Roak, the son of Lias Warren—a decorated veteran from the Demonic Wars. Living up to that legacy was rough. Cyuss felt constantly overshadowed by his father's reputation, and the two never quite saw eye to eye because of it.
He picked up an adoptive sister, Phia Melle, somewhere along the way. She'd go on to join the Astral Knights with him, and when Cyuss turned down the Captain position, she took it instead.
After a particularly bad argument with Lias, Cyuss decided to hit the road. He spent years traveling and training, dead set on getting strong enough to stand as an equal to his father—to prove he'd grown beyond the kid Lias remembered.
