Zashiki's supposed to bring good fortune, but people tend to treat her poorly anyway—which eventually wore down her cheerful nature. When she finally found her "mother," the way she repaid that kindness was. questionable, to put it mildly. Still, she's got time to figure things out, and at least now she has friends willing to carry some of that weight alongside her.
