The Ping Hai was a light cruiser that served in the Chinese Navy during the pre-World War II era. She was the second vessel in the Ning Hai class, which made her one of the more modern warships available to China at the time. These ships represented some of the better-equipped cruisers in the Chinese fleet before the war, though they were ultimately caught in the larger conflicts of the 1930s and 1940s.
