Akane moved to Tokyo on her own to attend university after growing up in Gunma Prefecture. She got into the online game Forest of Savior through her boyfriend Furukawa Takuma, but things fell apart when he cheated on her with someone he met in-game and broke up with her.
After the breakup, she threw herself into FOS as an outlet—something that didn't go unnoticed by Yamada, a fellow guild member in the Chocolate Rabbit Guild, who picked up on how much she was still hung up on Takuma. What started as an online connection took an unexpected turn when they ran into each other at an official FOS offline event. Though that meeting wasn't quite as simple as just the two of them reconnecting.
