Homare is a young woman with striking blue hair styled into four spikes at the back and a light-colored bang in front. She wears a white eyepatch over her right eye. Despite being on the shorter side, she's taller than Himari—though don't bring that up around her.
As an Anti-Demon Corps member, she wears the standard uniform but typically leaves the jacket open to reveal a black leather bra. It's a look that works for her, even if she'd rather die than admit to being self-conscious about being fully nude around others.
Homare comes from the prestigious Azuma Family, and she carries that elitist attitude that runs through her lineage. She used to regularly beat on Himari, seemingly enjoying it—sadistic tendencies that haven't entirely gone away. When her sister once questioned why she'd bother with Himari anymore, Homare casually threatened to lop her head off. She's got a temper to match her pride, flying off the handle when Maia sealed her movements or even when Himari brushed her arm aside.
After losing to Himari in the competition for family leadership, Homare threw herself into training with renewed intensity, determined to master her Peach Blessing. Her mentor Tobera has noted she's getting dangerously fast—fast enough to potentially become the strongest in the world if she keeps improving.
Like most women who've consumed one of Mato's peaches, Homare gained a unique power that makes her one of the corps' most formidable hunters. She's talented, skilled, and knows it. Unfortunately, she's also a sore loser—case in point: after getting beaten, she once tried sneaking into Yuuki's room to seduce him away from Himari as revenge.
