But put her in actual danger, like trapped in that barrel, and she's more than willing to prove her doubters wrong. She's got grit when it matters. That said, her optimism has limits. When rescue didn't come, she started spiraling into darker thoughts about being abandoned. She's not immune to despair, even if she fights it.
