A shinigami who literally holds life and death in his hands. Armed with nothing but paper, brush, ink, and sacred words, he decides fates—which is exactly why he takes everything seriously. His straightforward, no-nonsense demeanor doesn't exactly make him the friendliest guy around. But there's probably more going on behind that stern expression than people realize. For all his selflessness, you get the sense he might be secretly amused by something.
