Misaki is a young woman who first meets Shigeru when he finds her at the roadside covered in blood—though she's actually unhurt. She shows up at his place the next day to thank him, explaining that she and some friends were out filming a horror movie when he found her.
What's interesting about Misaki is that she claims to have the ability to see ghosts that follow people around. This becomes relevant to the plot of Yuurei ni Naritakunai (Anything but a Ghost), where her unusual talent draws her into Shigeru's life in unexpected ways.
