Miki Hosokawa is easily one of the biggest troublemakers in Nube's class. She's known for her loud mouth, her surprisingly deep knowledge of the supernatural, and—well, she'd want you to know about her impressive bust size too.
Early on, Miki was basically the class tattletale, constantly spreading gossip and rumors, especially anything involving Nube. But after nearly dying at the hands of a tattletale youkai, she had a serious wake-up call. She started cutting back on the gossip and pivoted hard toward studying the supernatural instead. Before long, she became obsessed with researching spirits and youkai, diving so deep into spiritual knowledge that even her teacher started asking her for advice on things he didn't know.
That said, Miki's still Miki—her spiritual interests aren't purely academic. She's always hunting for supernatural shortcuts, whether it's to fuel her rumor mill or make a quick buck. Her biggest spiritual breakthrough was learning to transform into a rokurokubi, letting her stretch her head and neck out to go undercover wherever she needs. It's become one of her go-to tricks.
Vanity is kind of her thing. She's obsessed with how she looks and takes obvious pride in her developing figure—she goes from a B-cup to an F-cup throughout the series and doesn't miss a chance to show it off. Her name is actually a nod to a main character from Devilman, Go Nagai's classic horror series that heavily influenced the whole Nube franchise.
