A high school student with a nasty perverted streak. He's got serious baggage with his father—blames him entirely for his mother's death. His real gift is a power called "blood pointer," which lets him drain "element" from people around him through his mouth. He'd been using it on and off throughout the series without even realizing what was happening. After fighting the Venus unit, he finally started getting proper training to understand and control the ability. He and Haruko Ayama go way back as childhood friends.
