Aki is a second-year student in Kyōya Hashiba's Department of Film, though she's better known by her nickname "Shinoaki." By 2016, she'd made a name for herself as an illustrator under the professional name Shino Akishima—someone Kyōya genuinely admired.
She and Kyōya both joined the Art Society, and spending time together as students brought them closer. After hitting a creative wall following the development of a doodling game, Aki found her footing again when Kyōya encouraged her to take on illustration work alongside the Kuroda-ji project, where her real talent started to shine through.
