Patrick is a rookie federal agent who's still finding his footing in intelligence work. Not much is publicly known about his background or personal life—he's basically brand new to the game. He tends to view Leon Scott Kennedy as just a guy who got lucky, though he genuinely admires Jason for his heroic work back in Penamstan.
In 2006, someone hacks into a classified White House file, and Patrick gets called in alongside three other agents to investigate. Things go sideways fast when the power cuts out and they're suddenly fighting off a wave of zombies with the SWAT team. Once they manage to get through that nightmare, they discover the hacked file points to the Institute of Biological Sciences in Shanghai. That's when the investigation shifts to China, and Patrick and the team head out to dig into what's really going on.
