Tanta is Gonzo's nephew—his sister Nao had him with Mido. Red's pretty fond of the kid, which doesn't hurt. He's got his heart set on becoming a carpenter like his uncle Gonzo, even though he hasn't figured out what his blessing is yet. The rough part is that he's dealing with a white-eye disease that could eventually leave him blind.
