Yoko was the original resident of the Kawai complex before Sayaka, Ritsu, and Usa moved in. Her defining trait is her absolutely disastrous luck with jobs—fans often joke that if you swapped Mayumi's notorious bad luck with men for Yoko's bad luck with employment, the comparison would be spot-on. She tried to move back to the complex at one point but got rejected due to some complications. She shows up in the manga during Vol. 4, Chapter 37.
