That said, he's capable of genuine insight when things actually matter, especially when dealing with the Angeloids. He shows real tenderness toward Ikaros and Nymph, and he's surprisingly thoughtful with Astraea in the manga.
His schemes aren't always noble—he invented the female persona "Tomoko" specifically so he could use hotspring trips with Sohara and Mikako as an excuse to spy on them. The character is voiced by Saki Fujita and Alison Viktorin.
