Alleyne is one of the forest elves' most experienced warriors—a no-nonsense fighter known for her blunt, direct manner. She has an ongoing, bickering friendship with Echidna, who teases her mercilessly about her lack of romantic experience while Alleyne just as readily criticizes Echidna's loose behavior.
Everything changed when Nowa, a half-elf, arrived in the forest community. Alleyne took an immediate interest in the girl and officially named her "guardian of the forest," but the village elders weren't having it. They forced Nowa into the Queen's Blade tournament as a way to get rid of her. Rather than accept this, Alleyne secretly entered the tournament herself—ostensibly following orders, but really determined to protect Nowa and figure out the strange feelings the young half-elf had stirred up in her.
