Fukube is a childhood friend of Kenji's who got hit hard by "Friend's" cult—his wife was kidnapped by the group, leaving him to raise their three kids on his own. When things escalate in 2000, he rejoins Kenji and the others to take down "Friend" and destroy the massive robot that's tearing through Shinjuku.
