A brilliant kid with a photographic memory who's set on becoming an astronomer. He made a promise with his childhood friend Kuroneko to work at NASA someday, and that goal's stuck with him ever since. He's got the brains to back it up—the kind of person who doesn't forget anything he reads or sees.
Things get complicated when he crosses paths with some magic users on the run. Despite knowing their pursuers have kill-on-sight orders for anyone harboring them, he decides to let them crash at an abandoned observatory he has access to. It's a risky move, but he goes all in—working out ways to hide their location, hunting down the medicine they need to survive, and basically trying to give them something resembling a normal life despite everything trying to tear them apart. He's not the type to walk away once he's committed to something.
