The matriarch of the Shimazu clan and Sakuya's grandmother. She's genuinely fond of her granddaughter, and Sakuya clearly feels the same way about her. What's quirky about her is that she's really into video games—not exactly what you'd expect from someone her age leading a major family. She also uses puppet versions of herself from when she was younger to fight enemies and interact with people around her, which honestly sounds cooler than it probably has any right to.
