Bambietta Basterbine is a Quincy and one of the Vandenreich's elite Stern Ritter, ranked as "E." She's best known for her role in the Thousand-Year Blood War, where she helped lead the assault on Soul Society alongside her fellow Stern Ritter.
When the Vandenreich's leader gave the order to invade, Bambietta and the other Stern Ritter gathered at the Sun Gate before heading into Seireitei. Once there, they set up massive pillars of blue flame—a sight that signaled the beginning of their assault on the Shinigami. Bambietta threw herself into the fighting with genuine enthusiasm, cutting through Soul Society's forces without hesitation.
Her rampage caught the attention of Captain Sajin Komamura, who seemed taken aback at finding a young girl fighting for the enemy. She shot back with a taunt: if someone as unlikely as a dog could make captain, Soul Society must be desperately scraping the bottom of its barrel for soldiers.
