Starscream is the Decepticon Air Commander and arguably the deadliest of the Seekers. He's got the skills to back up his reputation, but what he's really known for is his ambition—the kind that constantly gets him into trouble. He genuinely believes he'd make a better leader than Megatron, and he's never shy about plotting to take over. The thing is, his schemes are hilariously transparent, and he lacks the patience to actually pull them off. On the rare occasions when he does seize control, he instantly drowns in the responsibility and refuses to admit he's out of his depth. It's a running cycle: he fails, learns nothing, and then does it all over again. Somehow, Megatron never actually destroys him for it, which is probably the real mystery here. None of this stops Starscream from being utterly convinced that victory is inevitable—he just knows his time will come eventually.
