Glen was tight with Sirius and Reika—the three of them made history as the first Element Users to pull off a successful Unification during combat. Things fell apart fast when an accident during a battle left him in a coma. Sirius and Reika kept visiting, but then discovered he'd been transferred to the New United Nations' medical facility. Worse, they found out he was being used as a test pilot for the UN's Military Vectors, deployed whenever the Aquarion couldn't fight the Shadow Angels.
It turned out the UN had performed an experimental operation on him—grafting Shadow Angel feathers into his body to boost his combat abilities. The procedure worked, but left him with an unsettling cyborg-like personality that rubbed both humans and Shadow Angels the wrong way. His exact Element power remains unclear, though near the end of the series it's hinted he might have a close-range, more refined version of what Tsugumi can do.
