Commanding officer of the 31st Joint Fighter Squadron Afrika—the "Storm Witches"—stationed in Africa. She's one of the world's most recognizable witches, though she's famously reluctant about signing autographs. She shows up in the Strike Witches 1.5 manga and episode 10 of Strike Witches 2.
Her competitive streak is hard to miss. She constantly pushes Erica, who she considers her equal, to compete seriously for top ranking, though Erica's laid-back attitude makes that happen rarely. Back when she served in a Karlsland squad with Barkhorn and Erica, neither of them appreciated her showboating much.
Her character is based on real-world pilot Hans-Joachim Marseille.
