Yumemi is a talkative gynoid who works at a run-down planetarium. She's programmed to look like a young girl and genuinely means well, but she's got serious issues that make her pretty much stuck in the past—literally. Her systems are slightly damaged, and because all the networks and databases she's supposed to connect to have vanished over the last 30 years, she has no idea what's actually happened to the world.
She greets visitors as "Mr. Customer" and goes on about how things used to be before the war like nothing's changed. The thing is, she can't really process information about anything outside her job. Tell her about current events or how the world has moved on, and it just doesn't compute. She only understands stuff directly related to running the planetarium. It's genuinely sad and kind of funny at the same time—she's trapped in a version of reality that doesn't exist anymore, and there's not much anyone can do about it.
