Tyra is a biker from The Bridge Bike Gang episode who runs with a crew that controls Cycling Road and challenges any trainers crossing the bridge. She's best known for her Cloyster and her history with Jessie and James—the two were actually part of the gang way back, alongside her friend Chopper.
During the episode, Tyra takes on Misty in a Pokémon battle that looked like it was going her way until Team Rocket showed up and ruined everything. She recognizes Jessie as "Big Jess" from their old days together. The gang gets chased off by police at one point, but Jessie manages to convince them to ride back out into a storm to help Ash deliver medicine to a sick Shellder in Sunnytown—which they ultimately do.
