Okra-chan is a short, light-skinned character with dark green hair who runs a vegetable farm. She's instantly recognizable by her distinctive okra-shaped hat, green collar, yellow shirt, and dark-red pants.
Though she's consistently portrayed as friends with Baikinman across her appearances, Okra-chan is basically innocent—she doesn't actually team up with him to fight Anpanman or get involved in his schemes. She's more of a neutral presence in the series.
The character first showed up in the episode "Baikinman and Okra-chan" back on September 25, 1998.
