Oldest SSR-class student and one of Arakawa's closest friends. Known for being painfully shy and anxious about pretty much everything—new situations, loud noises, you name it. Despite her nervous disposition, she's genuinely caring and loyal to those she's comfortable with. Fans often note that watching her gradually open up throughout the series is one of the more rewarding character arcs, even if she remains pretty reserved overall.
