Kentarou Yamashita is the photography club's only first-year, looking up to his upperclassmen Tada and Ijuin. He's got that androgynous pretty-boy thing going on—tall and slim with fluffy hair he always pins back. Since he and Tada went to the same middle school, they've had an established senpai-kouhai dynamic that Kentarou takes pretty seriously. He basically idolizes Tada, which earned him the nickname "Yamashita-Ken" from the rest of the group (Ken written with the kanji for "dog," naturally).
Despite genuinely loving animals, they're not really interested in returning the favor—and that includes Nyanko Big, who's as unimpressed with him as the rest of the animal kingdom seems to be.
