Professor G ran one of the mobile suit development programs that sprang up after the original Alliance team scattered. That team had already completed the Tallgeese and designed Wing Gundam Zero before things fell apart—after that, the engineers went their separate ways, setting up shop across different colony clusters and Earth itself.
Based in Colony Cluster L2, Professor G is best known as the designer and builder of Gundam Deathscythe. He's the one giving orders to Duo Maxwell. Physically, he's pretty distinctive: thick mushroom-shaped hair, a mustache, an unusually long nose, and a prominent scar running down his left cheek.
