Hänsel and Gretel
Hänsel and Gretel are Romanian twin orphans—sometimes called Fratele Meu ("my brother") and Sora Mea ("my sister") in Romanian—who were left at a state-run orphanage after their parents couldn't afford to raise them. Their real names have never been publicly shared, so they're primarily known by these fairy-tale-inspired nicknames.
