Tesla was an independent Plant and the older sister of Vash and Knives. She's largely responsible for shaping Knives's hatred of humanity—her fate became the breaking point that turned him against humans entirely.
As the first known independent Plant to be born, Tesla had the misfortune of becoming a test subject. She appeared to her brothers as a vision that drew them to the medical block where the experiments were taking place. She was a small blonde girl with a freckle on her left chin, dressed in the standard children's outfit worn on the SEEDS ships. Not much is known about her actual personality beyond these details.
The Report of Tesla documents the experiments performed on her throughout her life until her death. After she died, her body was preserved in three separate cylindrical tanks: one holding her right arm, another containing most of her dissected remains, and the third encasing her brain and eyes.
