A serial killer behind a string of murders in Kyoto, Zerozaki first crossed paths with "I" on Friday the 13th—initially hunting him as his next target. When things escalated to a killing blow, "I" was ready to gouge out his eyes in self-defense, but Zerozaki pulled back. Something about "I"'s willingness to fight impressed him enough to stop. They talked it out afterward and ended up developing an odd kind of friendship.
He's got a distinctive look: a facial tattoo on the right side, white-dyed hair, three earrings on his right ear, and a cellphone strap hanging from his left ear. At around 150cm tall, he's noticeably short for a man. Zerozaki functions as "I"'s mirror image in many ways—essentially his foil—and there's something deliberately opposite about how they operate. He carries a vest loaded with knives and knows how to use them well.
