Koichi Morita
Koichi was artificially created by the Abukuma Bio Research Institute as a bioengineered super animal—basically a living weapon designed to oppose the Hawk Talons. He started out as a spy working for the Institute, but got captured by Yoshida-kun before he could do any real damage. That's when he got stuck with the name "Koichi Morita," which wasn't exactly his choice.
These days he's genuinely bonded with the Hawk Talons crew and seems pretty content hanging out at their secret base. He's basically become the group's voice of reason—or at least, he tries to be. Fans often note that he's one of the few members capable of calling out the team's constant ridiculous behavior with actual sharp, pointed comments. Whether the group actually listens is another story.
