Izuru is one of the "Princes"—a group of genetically engineered kids designed specifically to pilot advanced military robots known as AHSMBs (Advanced High Standard Multipurpose Battle Devices). He's a student at a school located in Grandzehle, an academic city, where he balances his education with his duties as a pilot.
