Carmilla Erzebet is the first generation that created Crepuscule with her ability. Carmilla appears to be a caring and harmless person. She wanted to protect the human race, so much that she went as far as abandoning her loved ones, to create a new world that would keep vampires away from humans. This project was so large that she had to sacrifice her own life in order to achieve it. But some question that she is really dead. She keeps appearing at Lark's dreams.
