Nigai was a shinobi from Kumogakure who met a pretty gruesome end during a mission gone wrong. He was part of a team with A (the Raikage) and Karai tasked with stealing a forbidden jutsu from Sugi Village, but they ran into the Nokizaru Group—a crew of mercenaries hired to stop them and recover the scroll.
Things escalated when the mercenaries started trash-talking, specifically goading A about retreating. Nigai initially kept his cool and advised his teammates to brush off the taunts, but he couldn't help himself once they insulted the Raikage. He turned to engage them and unleashed a technique that caused his body to balloon up to massive size before detonating explosively.
