He loses his patience with them pretty regularly, but it's obvious he cares. His students like him well enough, and he won't stand for anyone talking down to them.
On paper, he's got serious skills with explosives and strategy. In practice, though? He tends to improvise with whatever's on hand—chalk, erasers, the attendance book—rather than actual weapons. It works out more often than it probably should.
He and Kirimaru have gotten close during school breaks. They're basically family now.
