A reporter from PXTV shows up in the episode "Shell Shock," trailing Nurse Joy's exhibition crew to a remote island where they're supposedly uncovering Kabuto fossils. She's got her cameraman in tow and is laser-focused on landing a big story—mainly because she wants the ratings and the accolades that come with it. Awards are basically her whole motivation here.
The thing is, she completely ignores Umberto's warnings about leaving those fossils alone. When the Kabuto actually come to life, they swarm the camera and wreck it. By the end of the episode, though, she has a change of heart and realizes that keeping the discovery under wraps is actually the right call. Sometimes the story isn't worth telling.
