Melnes is a quick, sharp-eyed assassin who works directly under one of the Demon Army's four headmasters. He's built a reputation as someone who notices everything and acts faster than most.
Personality-wise, he comes across as the quiet type—calm, serious, and noticeably intelligent. The thing is, he's a bit disconnected from the world around him and sometimes struggles to pick up on social cues. His face rarely betrays what he's thinking, but people close to him like Kobeni can usually read him anyway. He's got solid self-control and rarely reacts emotionally to anything, which makes him seem even more distant than he probably is.
Socially, though, Melnes has some real gaps. He's genuinely shy in crowds and barely talks, even around the Heavenly Kings. Back when he was running the Assassin Guild, he'd delegate all direct communication to subordinates rather than handle it himself.
