Charcadet is a humanoid Pokémon supposedly born from burnt charcoal. It's mostly black with a red torso and limbs, while its oversized head is orange with red accents on top and back. A flame-like plume crowns its head, tipped in pink and dark blue. Its forehead sports a black plate-like mask with three central holes that turn dark red when attacking, and its eyes glow with wisps around red-and-yellow pupils. The head sits on a tiny neck connected to a tunic-like torso with an orange protrusion at the front. Both hands and feet are cylindrical, and it trails a fiery cape down its back, complete with small teardrop indents on the soles of its feet.
What's interesting about Charcadet is its combative nature—it'll eagerly take on opponents way stronger than itself, and its firepower actually intensifies as battles go on, eventually reaching over 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit. It's got a taste for fat-rich Berries. According to lore, Charcadet has inhabited Paldean lands since ancient times, forming deep connections with humans alongside nobility and knights. Its evolution takes an unusual turn: depending on which suit of old armor it encounters—one harboring good intentions or another filled with malicious will—it evolves into a completely different form.
Evolution
Charcadet evolves into either Armarouge or Ceruledge.
