Jin Ling is a disciple of the Lanling Jin Sect and the sole legitimate heir to the clan—he'll take over as sect leader once Jin Guangyao steps down. His parents are Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan, and he's got connections all over: Jin Guangyao is his uncle, as is Jiang Cheng on his mother's side.
He's known for being proud and quick to anger, which honestly hasn't done him any favors socially. Most people his age keep their distance, and he doesn't have a ton of friends. That said, fans often note that beneath the attitude, he's genuinely kind-hearted and actually wants to improve himself—he's just got a lot working against him, circumstance-wise.
