Masaki is the second son in a family of three supply runners—him, his older brother Len, and their dad Kouji. The trio went missing during what should've been a routine supply run to a mall. Things went south fast when they got swarmed by cats and had to bail into a storage room. Kouji stayed behind to buy them time to escape, but he got infected in the process.
By the time a rescue group found them, Masaki and Len had been holed up in that storage room living off whatever snacks they could find. The group that discovered them was led by a Devon Rex cat with green fur—pretty memorable detail. After being rescued, Masaki and Len joined up with this trio to help with supply gathering and work toward getting everyone out.
Physically, Masaki has long black hair that falls over one eye, blue eyes, and usually wears a black coat and pants with a green shirt underneath. His signature weapon is a pair of blue dolphin-shaped pistols, which is honestly one of the cooler character details—definitely not your typical survival gear choice.
