Chosuke Honma works alongside Shizuku in the wine department and is basically obsessed with wine—like, his tiny apartment is basically a wine storage unit at this point. He's got serious expertise in Italian wines especially, which became his thing after getting dumped by a French woman; yeah, he took that pretty hard and decided Italian wine was where it's at instead.
He came from nothing—both his parents are gone—and threw himself into wine almost like it became his whole life. Started off rubbing Shizuku the wrong way, but they ended up becoming actual friends. Honma's the type who looks out for the younger people at work like an older brother would, and he's always ready to back Shizuku up when it comes to the "Drops of God" competition.
