Mikeosu is a character from the Pokémon episode "Meowth Rules!" He runs Golden Island and leads its people, who are devoted followers of a prophecy about the Meowth of Bounty—a legendary creature supposedly destined to bring them wealth and prosperity.
When Meowth actually lands on the island during the night of the bone white moon, Mikeosu and the villagers are convinced he's the prophesied savior. They immediately start worshiping him and obeying his every whim, fully expecting him to shower them with riches using the move Pay Day. There's just one problem: Meowth has no idea how to use that move.
Desperate to prove Meowth's power, Mikeosu and his fellow villager Shimajio push him into battles to level him up. When Meowth keeps losing, Jessie and James save the day by dumping James's bottle cap collection on the ground, making it look like Meowth's Pay Day attack worked. The villagers buy it completely.
Eventually Mikeosu and Shimajio try to convince Meowth to stay and rule Golden Island permanently. Meowth declines, choosing to stick with Jessie and James instead. In the English dub's closed captions, Mikeosu is referred to as an acolyte.
