Ton
Ton runs the accounting department and serves as Season 1's main antagonist in Netflix's Aggretsuko. He's Retsuko's direct supervisor, and he's the guy making her job a living nightmare—constantly piling on work, being demanding, and generally making the office unbearable. That said, he's not a complete villain. When Retsuko hits a rough patch emotionally, Ton occasionally comes through for her, though he's not exactly gentle about it. His approach is pure tough love: he'll help, but he'll make sure you know it's because he thinks you need to toughen up, not because he's going soft.
