Oono is basically the backbone of the breakwater club—she's #2 in rank and everyone, especially Hina and Natsumi, calls her "senpai." She's the reliable one who keeps things running and kind of mothers the whole group. Growing up as a fisherman's daughter, she knows her way around fish better than anyone, handling cleaning and prep work with ease. She's naturally fallen into the role of club chef.
The funny thing is, despite being so comfortable with fishing, Oono can't actually swim and is terrified of the water. She deals with it by wearing a life jacket whenever she's anywhere near it, and honestly, it doesn't stop her from participating or having a good time with everyone. The club president has joked that she'd make an ideal wife someday, which never fails to embarrass her.
