Wilson was a mercenary alchemist hired by Sloth to pose as a State Military soldier and attack Ishbalans. He appears mainly in a single episode, though he briefly shows up during Edward's State Alchemy Exam. Rather than carrying a gun, Wilson relies on a backpack-mounted device that fires electrically-charged daggers. Once launched, these daggers trigger a transmutation circle that generates a massive sphere of electricity to strike his target—a technique that bears similarities to Xingese alchemy, right down to the daggers' appearance.
To draw Scar and the other Ishbalans out of hiding, Wilson kidnapped Rick. He ultimately gets defeated by Scar, who also reveals to him that Ed is a State Alchemist. This discovery troubles Wilson; he believed he was genuinely working for the military and grew confused when he realized other military personnel were actively working against him. He decides to confront Sloth about this contradiction, but before he can follow through on his threat to expose everything to King Bradley, Sloth kills him.
