Ted grew up with Miki and Fidel and fought alongside them during the federation's war against the Kronos rebels. He's legitimately one of the best swordsmen around—his skills are basically on par with Fidel's—but he's never gotten the same recognition. Part of that's just his laid-back personality, but mostly it comes down to Fidel being Daril's son. The favoritism stung, and fans often note that Ted's probably resigned himself to living in that shadow. These days he runs the Camuze Training Hall, stepping in to manage things while Fidel handles other stuff.
